Remedy Metals provides a disruptive solvent-free electrochemical technology for rare earth separation. Our four-stage process turns both mined concentrates and secondary feedstock — manufacturing scrap and end-of-life magnets — into high-purity rare earth oxides. We work with mining operators, magnet manufacturers and recyclers.
Our Three Core Operations
-
✓
Process Mined Ore
We work hand-in-hand with mining operators. By exploiting differences in magnetic susceptibility between rare earth elements, we isolate and recover them at high purity, without the heavy chemical infrastructure conventional separation demands.
-
✓
Recycle from End-of-Life Products
Rare earth magnets from discarded electronics, motors, and other products represent a secondary input stream we are equipped to process.

Manufacturing Byproducts
Production processes in magnets and alloys manufacturing generate rare earth-bearing waste that would otherwise be discarded. We can process this hazardous material on-site allowing manufacturers to recover part of their waste
What we offer
Mining companies extract rare earth ore but rarely have the downstream infrastructure to convert it into separated, usable material. Remedy Metals fills that gap: a reliable pathway from concentrate to high-purity oxide, without the mine building or operating complex chemical facilities. The same process handles secondary feedstock: manufacturing scrap and end-of-life magnets, where the separation bottleneck is identical and the material is already above ground.
Our Four-Stage Processing Method
Whether processing mined ore, factory byproducts, or end-of-life magnets, the same four-stage process applies — designed to recover solid rare earth elements at exceptional purity from any input stream.
1. Dissolution
Breaking down the material structure through controlled chemical processes to release rare earth elements.
2. Preparation
Conditioning the dissolved materials to optimize them for the extraction and separation phases.
3. Electrochemical Separation
Exploits differences in magnetic susceptibility between the individual REEs in solution to separate them from one another.
4. Recovery
Separated REEs are converted back into solid rare earth oxide (REO) powders.
Our Position
The rare earth supply chain has a well-documented gap between extraction and end use. Mining produces ore. Manufacturers need separated, high-purity elements. The chemical processing in between is technically demanding, capital-intensive, and currently concentrated in very few places globally.
Remedy Metals operates in that gap. We are not a mining company, and we are not a manufacturer. We are a processing partner — providing mines with a route to market for their rare earth concentrate, and providing the broader supply chain with a more geographically distributed source of processed material.
The Path Forward
Demand for rare earth elements is rising steadily, driven by electrification, defence applications, and the broader shift in industrial technology. The extraction side of the supply chain is active. The processing side has not kept pace — in capacity, in geography, or in the flexibility needed to handle diverse ore types
By working with partners across the supply chain, from miners, to manufacturers providing waste streams, to recyclers supplying end-of-life products, we seek an ecosystem where rare earths never go to waste. This is Remedy's mission: Make rare earth processing faster, cleaner, and more reliable — beginning where the material originates.
